The objectives of the AMKBE

The AMKBE carries out labour market inspections throughout the Canton of Berne. In the interests of the economy and society, it pursues three important objectives with its inspection activities:

Implement the accompanying measures for the free movement of persons and prevent illegal work.

Achieve generally binding collective employment agreements or national collective agreements on behalf of joint commissions.

Carry out preventive and investigative action to uncover any violations and thus ensure fair conditions on the labour market.
